The MDS is the Mer Delivery System.

It makes distributing releases of Mer or other OBS codebases between multiple organisations much easier and more reliable.

It is an optional replacement for remote OBS links that:

  • does not depend on link availability
  • controls synchronisation
  • is bandwidth efficient
